Voyages To Where Life Began

Another PhotoPass shot from September 7th at Town Square Theater. Rapunzel was also present, and I not only got to interview/ask questions of her but also found her asking questions of me - which led to me opening up to her in a way that I hadn't before and realizing a way where my experience was similar to hers.

It started when she saw The Voyage. It not only jogged her memory, but she guessed a reason why I'd given it that title...

Rapunzel Oh, my goodness, this is amazing! (Gasps) Mice, Princesses & Real Magic...so, Carlo, I take it you are a very experienced traveler! (Gasps) My goodness, and you've met so many friends already...
Me Well, before I really came here for the first time (for the College Program)...
Rapunzel Yeah?
Me ...I was searching around basically half the world looking for a piece of myself that had suddenly gone missing. I went as far away as Spain and then China for study abroad. I don't think I really found what I was looking for, though, until I came back here.
Rapunzel Is that right? And your life had finally begun? I know the feeling exactly. I mean, I had lived in the tower for quite some time, but I didn't feel like I had found my life until I saw those floating lanterns.
Me Was it about making the decision to chase your dreams fearlessly?
Rapunzel It sure was! I know you always have to follow those dreams! And the best part about following dreams is once your dreams comes true, you get to go find a new dream. I know - and you always have done!

I wound up opening up to her about how my journey back had been about overcoming the biggest disappointment of my life and also about how I wouldn't have overcome the death of my grandmother and my parents' breakup if it hadn't been for them. But what very pleasantly surprised me here is that Rapunzel showed how much she believed in me when she heard that and said, "And you'd overcome everything...Carlo, I'm so proud of you..."
