An iPad shot from May 3rd at the castle Grotto. I'd just let Ariel know that I was bound for North Carolina until to help my mother and sister, but that I'd successfully completed my first year of grad school, which meant that would be back for sure in August (which was a big relief because I'd been on pins and needles after exams.) We wound up just practically vibing, though, as she assured me that they'd still be around when I got back in August after I told her that I'd still miss everyone even though I knew for sure that I'd be back and also when. It resulted in another shot where it looked like a character and I were singing and I was in a definite Blues Brothers mood that night, so now that I look back, a song that fit was Sam And Dave's Soothe Me, which played before the chase that wound up going through the mall (mind you, we'd just be singing as best friends):
