Related deviation: My Sword Of Truth? Really? ([link])

Here's a little something new to round this batch out! It's a PhotoPass shot from my first meeting with Pocahontas - Labor Day (September 3rd) at Camp Mickey-Minnie at Animal Kingdom.

We had a conversation where I found that she'd seen me and heard of me before I'd seen her and also where I relayed a message from Merida that resulted in her relating to me a Native American legend. (I'll post another shot about that sometime in the near future.) After the usual side-by-side shot, she then asked me to stand with her as a warrior - back to back with her arms crossed like she did here - but I was suddenly struck with an idea.

"Wait. If I'm gonna..." I said, and I quickly went over to my bag and drew the sword from the Royal Table that Aurora had called my own Sword Of Truth. The photographer recognized it, laughed and smiled in approval - as he said while taking this shot, "There you go - now we have two warriors!"

Pocahontas also liked that idea as I told her, "The moment you said 'warrior', I knew I had to reach for this." She answered, "Perfect! Perfect! You must be a real warrior, then, huh?" I answered, "Well, let's just say ever since I got this from Cinderella and company, I've tried hard to prove I'm worthy of one."

"So you've got to use it well, then, right?" I agreed, saying, "And also, it's not just being able to hold your own in a fight," to which she responded, "That's true."

You got to meet Pocahontas?! My favorite Disney heroine of all time! How dare you! XD just kidding hun, I am just jealous because I went to Disneyland when I was 12 with the expectation that I was going to meet her and the whole 3 days I was in Disneyland she was not in the park :( I cried 2 of the 3 days because of that but Tinkerbell made it all better since she's my favorite fairy and I was dressed in a Tink graphic tee with her on my cheek as face paint and she told me not to use up all of the pixie dust that was on the wings of the face paint, I told her I wouldn't...man I need to get the rest of the photos from my grandparents and upload some on here, I can't believe it's already been 4 years since my first trip to a Disney park :')

I love Pocahontas too! Mulan is my favourite and I have never met her before but one day we will :)
