Ariel Dragging Me Under

A shot from last night - my final Akershus dinner of the session. I'd given Ariel a thank-you card and she'd given me a hug - and even said "Of course!" when I asked if she could hug me for the camera. I told Wanda, the character attendant who took the shot (and who was also there when my relatives visited in 2009, as shown in I Remember - [link]), that I really like it because it looks like Ariel's dragging me under.

One other thing that sticks is what Wanda said when she was taking the shot - "Aww...best friends forever!" I have to say I've been fortunate to have my fair share of good hugs here, but I can't remember the last time a character held me that tight.
